
Matthew is a well-respected Associate Director, in Partnerships and Sponsorships, for the University of British Columbia.
He and his team are responsible for forming strategic alliances and corporate partnerships with a focus on event and property sponsorships and business deals. He routinely engages alumni and external parties, and has experience overseeing, on behalf of the university, a diverse array of sport tourism type events and successful business development initiatives.
Prior to his return to his alma mater, where he graduated with a BSc, he managed multiple major corporate and team-based fundraising programs with The Heart and Stroke Foundation of B.C. & Yukon, with a special focus on online fundraising.
Matt is honored to join such a distinguished Board and looks forward to supporting and helping GRACE as it grows and evolves.
