has anyone on pemetrexed noticed or know if an over production of mucous is a side effect. My husband rec'd first maintenance treatment last week and mucous production today is out of this world. thank you

I suspect it's been reported by a few rare patietns, but I've probably treated 500 or more patients with Alimta (pemetrexed) over the past decade and don't believe I've heard that side effect reported before. I've had several patients report eye irritation and tearing, but not excessive mucus.
