Moderator: Should I start a new profile or continue using my old one? I was an active member of this forum while my husband had lung cancer. He died two years ago. I updated my profile to reflect that. I am a breast cancer "survivor". My oncologist now thinks that the breast cancer that was first diagnosed in 1988 has metastasized and has ordered test to try to find a location.

Hi follansbee,
Hi follansbee,
I'm so sorry to hear of your dear husband's passing, and now your own challenges. I hope you get reassuring answers from your oncologist.
I don't see a reason to create a new account; you should be able to add to your existing profile. I'm not aware of any character limit in that field. We have had other members who have been dealing either simultaneously or sequentially with cancers for more than one patient and used the same account.

Thank you, Jim. I'll just add current information to my profile. I'm not too concerned about this recurrence because my tumors have always been exceedingly slow growing, and I'm 76 years old, so will probably not die of this.
