I had a high grade myxo fibro sarcoma tumor removed from my abdominal wall.
Marlex mesh was sutured to the remaining fascia to reconstruct the rectus abdominis muscle that had to be removed with the tumor.
I have a piece of mesh about 8cm x 12cm in lieu of muscle on my right side above my belly button.
I would like to know what other people who have mesh reconstruction experience day to day as they bend and lift and move. What limitations do you have? Bowel movements? What experience with scar tissue do you have?

Welcome to GRACE. We don't have any information in our archives with regard to your issues, but if someone in our community has any history with a similar situation, they may post their experiences.
I hope that you have limited side effects from the surgery as time goes on.
