Hello,
One of my close relatives recently had a seizure and was rushed to the hospital. They did a MRI and the doctor informed that they found traces of brain cancer in the scan. The doctor also confirmed with other tests that the cancer was also detected on bones and liver.
On Monday they will perform radiation therapy - gamma knife, to target the cancer in the brain.
I have shared the translated report in the link below. Original report is in french.

If someone can kindly give an idea on what treatment plan can be ( or should be ) expected/recommended in this case , the possibility or success rate of recovery and the seriousness of the issue i would really appreciate it.
FYI patient had breast cancer two years ago which was treated with chemotherapy and surgery.

Hello and welcome to GRACE. …
Hello and welcome to GRACE. I'm so sorry about your person. Cancer is a horrible disease. We can't diagnose or interpret scans here nor should you expect anyone else to make these types of conclusions online unless it's with a medical doc through a medical appointment. Also posting reports online exposes one's private info to the public.
With that said, since your person has been recently treated for breast cancer it is possible the brain tumors are "metastases" from breast cancer, not brain cancer. Unfortunately, breast cancer is known to recur within 5 years of treatment and the brain bones and liver are places to which it likes to travel.
Gamma knife radiation targets the tumors and can be very helpful in getting rid of the tumors in the brain without causing damage to healthy tissue which WBR can do.
Here is a link to a good explanation of gamma knife (no knives are used it's not surgery) from Cleveland Clinic.
Unfortunatley with recurrance of breast cancer that has metastasized to sevaral places, brain, bone, liver there is no cure however there are treatments that can extend life as well as quality of life (gamma knife being an good example). Types of treatment depend of many factors the first of which is the subtype.
From our youtube site here is a video discussing brain mets in breast cancer and here is a list of videos on the subjects. (note the spreaker links are duplicate audio versions of videos).
I hope this helps. If you have specific questions moving forward let us know.
Best of luck,
Janine
I joined GRACE as a caregiver for my husband who had a Pancoast tumor, NSCLC stage III in 2009. He had curative chemo/rads then it was believed he had a recurrence in the spine/oligometastasis that was radiated. He's 10 years out from treatment.
