Here is the text of an email to 2 local doctors.
3 years after lung surgery I just got another clean X-ray. Thank you and your staff very much. Great job.
Despite your recommendations for chemo due to the size of the tumor I studied the info, oncologists's input and stats on the GRACE site and opted out.
My Xrays looked like stage 3 due to likely lymphnode enlargement. You decided to check it further and found no sure lymphnode involvement. Dr. Moser recommended Dr. Gibson for surgery.
You tested my lung capacity. Dr. Gibson, after surgery, said my lungs, after 50 years of smoking were more like balloons than lungs. After hours of trying to untangle the top 2 lobes he lopped of both top lobes leaving me with 1/3 of my right lung. He finished what your supposed to do for cancer surgery and did a great job.
I could not be happier with the results. The breathing is good, considering my history.

Great! I'm so happy to hear of your good results. And after three years, you've cleared the majority of big hurdles to being considered as cured.
