My wife has her2 breast cancer that has moved to the brain I want to know if there are any new drugs that can help , she has had whole brain radiation that has left her with weak muscles and has made her incontinent,and was taking Tykerb until the blod clots almost killed her

I'm afraid that I don't have any compelling ideas to suggest in this situation, given that she has already received whole brain radiation and isn't tolerating Tykerb (lapatinib), with side effects that were not just a nuisance but quite dangerous. I don't think chemotherapy would have an appreciable probability of treating brain metastases, especially if they are progressing after whole brain radiation.
I'm sorry I don't have anything more to suggest.
