Hi. Hope you're all doing ok. IDK where to post this, so apologies if posted in wrong section. (im a male.) So, in February, I started getting headaches. Like, severe. They've calmed down somewhat now, my DR said it's migraine, etc. But, on March the 3rd, I woke up with red spider veins, a red rash. I'm trying to get a DR'S appointment, however sometimes they don't have available appointments. What I'm most concerned about now, is lung cancer {SCLC/Pancoast} . I'm 26, 27 in 4 days but, i smoked from 11, quit in 2017, started again in 2021. I smoked around 10-15 cigarettes a day. Now, back in 2019, November-Dec, i started getting left sided arm pain, it stopped for a while, but since getting the rash, it's back. In 2022, i was getting left sided breast pain. Now, I'm getting it on the right side, and above each breast, the pain is always in the same spots. I get the pain around 20/30 times a day, lasts 1-5 seconds, feels like a stab/crush. Since it was getting worse in dec 2023 (the left sided breast pain only), i am due for a nuclear heart scan, just awaiting date.

I'm now also getting right side arm weakness, pain, etc. However, the rash has spread, my muscles on my arms, back, legs. I've also noticed a big increase in red spots. And, freckles. Like, loads. Apparently sclc is somewhat associated with hyperpigmentation, thus freckles and spots? I also keep getting back, neck, stomach, kidney pain. The neck-back pain i had since 2022, but decided to add them here.

I am also coughing up blood, rust coloured, here and there, coughing as well. The rash on my breasts is now turning purple, and bruising yellow. I know the chance is low, but having extreme anxiety and been able to see the DR is making me google symptoms and makes me think i have every cancer know to man. I'm just worried why its now happening on the right side, and the rash/spots/massive amount of freckles appearing.

( i also drank loads from 21-23 )

No lung pain when laughing or breathing in hard.

Thanks.

Hi and welcome to Grace.  Wow, I don't know why you can't get in to see your doc but I'd find a way or find another doc who can walk you through all your symptoms, another primary or urgent care or emergency dept, etc.  I'm sorry but we can't help you more than that.  I hope you get answers soon and they are not cancer associated.  But if they are and you have questions about treatment or symptom management please let us know.

Best of luck,

Janine

I joined GRACE as a caregiver for my husband who had a Pancoast tumor, NSCLC stage III in 2009. He had curative chemo/rads then it was believed he had a recurrence in the spine/oligometastasis that was radiated. He's 10 years out from treatment.
