Just wanted to post update on my wife. Just joined GRACE a couple of weeks ago and very glad I did.
After two treatments (6 weeks) of Alimta maintenance, following the 18 weeks (6 treatments of Carbo/Alimta) of relatively effective chemo, we just got the next CT scan back. It seems as if there are now three spots in liver that are likely metastases. One was extremely small spot in prior CTs that they thought was not cancer, but now has grown. There are two new additional spots that are likely metastases. We talk to Dr. tomorrow, but will likely go onto Opdivo (Nivolumab) treatment.

Hi scohn and welcome to Grace
Hi scohn and welcome to Grace. Of course no one is happy to need to be here but we all know how thankful we are to have Grace available. So, in that sense I'm very glad you're here to use us and I'm very sorry your wife has this awful disease.
I hope, well I hope for all kinds of things and it seems that I'm not the only one to find hope in a different light after beginning a lung cancer experience. Hope seems infinite. So I mean it in an intensely different way when I say, I hope your wife does well on her new treatment for a very long time.
Keep us posted,
Janine
