Some will remember an ancient thread entitled "Tarceva Masterlist", containing much useful information and tips for dealing with Tarceva side-effects:
http://cancergrace.org/cancer-treatments/topic/tarceva-eyes/
My particular gripe was itchy and sometimes infected eyes, which I never had pre-cancer and am pretty sure are caused by the Tarceva. These episodes are intermittent but they really bother me. I finally got to see an eye specialist, who diagnosed blepharitis - ie inflammation of the eyelids, which can lead to eye infections. I felt a bit silly having waited for two hours in a clinic for the kind of advice my mother might have given me - ie soak a face flannel in hot water and apply to closed eyes for five to ten minutes, then wipe to get rid of the residue. But I pass this on in case it is useful for anyone else.

And without the wait or any professional fees, no less!
Thanks for the tip. That's a fairly common side effect, so it's great if people don't need to suffer as much from it.
