I have NSCLC EGFR gene I have been on Tarceva for 15 months and my last two PETS are showing more brightness at the original tumor site and a slight increase in growth, 1mm. Could this growth continue slowly?
I have done really well on Tarceva, no one told me I could feel this good. Katie

There is a lot of thought around this, and I'd say the consensus of the vast majority of experts is that there is no reason to rush to change anything in the face of minimal, slow and asymptomatic progression. Many patients can do well without any changes for many months, sometimes even for more than a year after initial progression.
