I finished four rounds of Cistplatin/Alimta on 3 December2012 and had a CT scan on the 28th. N.E.D. I am on a three month break from cancer and will have a PET scan in April.
I will admit that Chemo was not as bad as expected. Mind you I have no desire to do it again if I can avoid it.
You know I said after the first Lobectomy that I would never do that again but, 18 months later I did it again. I have found that I have a powerful will to survive and therefore I have done a lot of things that I said that I would not do.
I have found Lung Cancer to be an imposition. I know that sounds funny but, I have been at it for two years and I have found that I CAN do what I need to do. I no longer fear Cancer anymore. It is what it is! There are worse things in life and we will all die of something.eventually and I may defy Cancer and die of old age!

That's terrific, Charlie. I'm very happy for you, and your comments are likely to help other people remind themselves that they can also get through what they need to do as well.
I hope you can share good reports for a very long time to come.
