I was wondering if there are any long term dangers with the staples that are left inside the body after Vat's surgery , infection , them working loose, blood clots or perhaps a false positive on scans for follow up?

I suppose there's a chance that the clips could cause some confusion on scans, but radiologists can usually identify these as what they are. I would consider the risks of them in as very close to negligible.
