My name is Terry Ouellette and I live in Atlantic Canada. I was diagnosed with metastatic liver cancer in April 2016. I am 68 years old and have been receiving chemo treatments every two weeks since my diagnosis. I am completely functional and take care of my house and my handicapped husband without any help. If you are interested in knowing how I cope with all of this, I have created a website Attitude Positive Cancer which details my daily life, my philosophies, etc. My website is in both English and French - your choice.
Hoping I can bring a bit of joy and inspiration into someone's life!

Thank you for welcoming me to your site and for giving me a place to share my blog address. I will certainly explore your site and see how other people like me are coping with this illness. It is so important to have a social network when living with cancer. xo

Welcome Terry! I wholeheartedly agree with you. My attitude was, I have cancer, it doesn't have me. I also feel if I have a recurrence even now that it is what it is and we'll deal with it if it happens. I don't spend time worrying about it.
I also wanted to say that your name is one that we're doing a family tree history of with many having come from Canada. In the states, it was changed to Willette. I know there is a large Ouellette family reunion in Canada and it's quite the event. I don't have all the info on it and just wondered if you're part of it?
Wishing you all the best on your journey. Take care, Judy

Thank you for your positive message and your good wishes, Judy, it's good to hear from people who have the exact same attitude towards cancer as I do.
About the Ouellette family reunion in Canada, Sorry I haven't heard anything about it yet. Ouellette is my husband's family name - first time I see the 'Willette' version of it!

Take care, Terry
