Ground Glass Nodule

Hello! I am new to this group. I found out I have 8mm pure ground glass nodule in lower lube last month. I just met with my specialist today, and we found that the nodule was there 3 month ago when I took another CT scan for abdominal/pelvis. But That radiologist didn’t mention anything about the nodule. The recent CT scan was also for abdominal. Because of my anxiety, the specialist recommended me to take CT scan for the chest in a month to see what going on. I am also worrying about too many CT scan in a short time period.

benign plural effusion: PleurX catheter or thoracentesis due to 2.5 years of fluid accumulation

Dilemma: Pleurx catheter vs thoracentesis for postsurgical benign plural effusion combined with slow chylothorax for 2.5 y. 90 y o dear mom had thoracentesis a few times (last one 15 months ago) for evaluation of fluid. Now for the first time ever she is out of breath and has cough due to her moderate R plural effusion increase. Due to ultra low fat diet chylothorax is minimal. In the past asymptomatic plural effusion returned in the same amount within 2 days of thoracentesis. First year after last thoracentesis was asymptomatic but now one or the other needs to be done.

I joined GRACE as a caregiver for my husband who had a Pancoast tumor, NSCLC stage III in 2009. He had curative chemo/rads then it was believed he had a recurrence in the spine/oligometastasis that was radiated. He's 10 years out from treatment.

Question from someone anxious about relentless back pain

Hi, to anyone who reads this. I found this site while Google searching and I'm honestly not entirely certain that I should be asking questions here. I haven't been diagnosed with cancer but have severe anxiety about some back pain I've been experiencing next to my shoulder blade. It started weeks ago, or at least, that's when I noticed it. It doesn't hurt much (barely detectable) unless I'm deep breathing, sneezing or laughing. When doing any of those things I experience a sharp pain in my shoulder blade on my left side. I had hoped it was from sleeping wrong but it won't go away.

Worried about pancoast tumor

Hello, please if anyone can give me insight concerning my symptoms it would be greatly be appreciated. First, I can't make it to my GP as she's booked until the end of the Feb 3rd. To give you some insight about my health, I smoked for 28 years and I quit 12 years ago, I'm 55. I have ptsd which resulted in deep depression which then resulted in binge drinking several times a week over the years. However, I eat right and I take a lot of supplements.

34 and scared of pancoast tumor

I’m a 33, turning 34 next month healthy female- In the past 4 months my dr has been watching my bloodwork for a slightly elevated d dimer .55 and ha crp (1.7) as my husband and I were planning on starting a family soon. I’m on a more naturopathic blood thinning protocol and just got retested. D dimer came down to .52 ( still elevated beyond normal of .5) but hs crp has risen to 6.7.

Worried about lung cancer

I am 32 and recently start experiencing some worrying symptoms. I have had a cough for 3 weeks now and bad right shoulder pain that shoots down my arm for almost as long. The pain started mild at first but has gotten worse. It hurts mostly when I move the wrong way and feels almost like a pinched nerve. I can go most of the day with it being pretty tolerable but have stretches where it hurts really bad. I also feel short of breath quite a bit during the days but it isn't that short of breath of that makes sense.
