Progression after 3 1/2 years on Tarceva.  Tissue biopsy showed T790m negative.  Any suggestions/experience on next steps?  Onc suggesting I move to Afatinib or a Opdivo.  PDL1 was tested and is <1%.

Has anyone any information on obtaining and using Vaxira, the Cuban drug, for
stage 4 advanced NSCLC? Not sure if US citizens can still travel to Cuba, but the drug is supposed to be available in Argentina also, which would seem to be an easier avenue. Thank you very much.

My wife has come a long way with Stage IV lung cancer since 2010. She has now developed acquired resistance to Tarceva.

Gene sequence of biopsy from enlarged pre-vascular and supraclavicular lymph nodes revealed mutation remains EGFR L858R in EXON 21 (original mutation from 2011) and negative to T790M. The cancer is also PD-1 and PD-L1 negative.

It seems that after 9,5 years I have developed resistance to Alimta, which has been the main reason why I have survived so long with stage IV BAC Adenocarcinoma. Now I am at a crossroads thinking what next. Cancer has progressed in my lungs, but I'm still doing quite well.

Mother-in-Law was diagnosed with NSCLC and after a blood biopsy, doctor is recommending Osimertinib. I tried searching on the main page, but it wasn't working. Can anyone share their experiences? She is 83 and has dementia.

I have been in Xalkori for 2 months, A current CT scans shows the Stage 4 NSCLC (ROS1) is stable. An EKG shows a higher QTc (596) since the last EKG 4 months ago (450), Since the Xalkori may be affecting this would merely stopping the drug and waiting a week or two for a followup EKG be recommended or should I be more concerned?

Hi my mom is 76 and was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that metastasized to the brain at the end of December (about 7 weeks ago). She also has A-Fib which was being treated with Eloquis.
