Hi. My mom lobectomy of rt lower lobe done in 10Apr14 . After lobectomy chemotherpy 4 cycle & radiotherpy complitly done on dated 20Nov14 . But today we have done chest xray where we find some shadow on right middle lobe in lower side we dought is this metasis or pneumonia. & pain on opreted place is very painfull. Plz sugess me .

Welcome to GRACE. I'm sorry to hear of your mom's diagnosis. and the new finding on the x-ray.
Interpretation of scans for someone who is not a patient of the GRACE faculty members is beyond what we can do. That being said, a couple of points can be made. First, the resolution of a chest x-ray is too low to be able to clearly see what is going on, especially so soon after surgery and radiation, which create scarring and inflammation that often cannot be distinguished from cancer. A chest CT might provide more information, allowing a better interpretation to be made.

By only observing your Xray
By only observing your Xray it is difficult to say that it is metasis or pneumonia. The better option is consult a doctor.
