Here's the first of two podcasts from a webinar featuring expert thoracic surgeon Dr. David Harpole from Duke University. He and the Duke team have been leaders in developing new techniques and leading and presenting national trials that have advanced the field of lung cancer surgery, so it's fitting to have him cover the leading advances of the past, present, and future in his own words.
The first part of his presentation focuses on advances in lung cancer staging that been shaped by and also in turn shape lung cancer surgery.
