Sodium level came back 132. My bun was 21, cr 1.2. I was a bit dehydrated when labs when drawn. And drank a lot of water prior to test. Retested in a couple weeks and came back @ 136 which is pretty close to where mine normally runs. Could sodium levels fluctuate that much if caused by tumor if no tx's for tumor or sodium have been initiated?
Thanks...

Possible, but that's not that much variability. Serum sodium levels can drop to the high 130s from effects like hydration and salt intake, without necessarily invoking a tumor effect. We think of tumor effects as being more relevant when sodium levels are down in the 120s, particularly down in the low 120s or below that.
Good luck.

One more for you if you don't mind. Can lung tumor pain be intermittent or does it usually just get progressively worse ? Thanks again....

If left untreated (and if the cancer is one which is progressing rather than indolent), lung tumor pain is more likely to to worsen.
