Grace is happy to present in partnership with the Swedish Cancer Institute " Local Therapies for Metastatic Lung Cancer Who, What, Why, When and How?"  this Saturday, November 10, 2018 | 10:00 am– 1:00 pm Pacific time.   This seminar will be available at no charge in person and as a live webinar.

I joined GRACE as a caregiver for my husband who had a Pancoast tumor, NSCLC stage III in 2009. He had curative chemo/rads then it was believed he had a recurrence in the spine/oligometastasis that was radiated. He's 10 years out from treatment.

 We are happy to introduce a new partnership with Clinical Care Options to help people better understand treatment options for those just diagnosed with follicular lymphoma.  This is the first of several such tools.  Other cancer decision making tools CCO will produce in the coming year include decision making tools include early breast cancer and NSCLC.

Tagrisso for acquired resistance to Tarceva

My wife has come a long way with Stage IV lung cancer since 2010. She has now developed acquired resistance to Tarceva.

Gene sequence of biopsy from enlarged pre-vascular and supraclavicular lymph nodes revealed mutation remains EGFR L858R in EXON 21 (original mutation from 2011) and negative to T790M. The cancer is also PD-1 and PD-L1 negative.
